rough breadboard models were made to perfect proportions and develop product packout through the design process. Variations of the plastic molded rocket were also 3D printed and used for team and licensor approvals.
The final package was manufactured out of printed corrugate board and an ABS molded rocket which was fastened to the cab roof with a keylock. The product was also fastened with a keylock which would allow it to stay in place during shipment but allow the consumer to remove without destroying the structure.
The pizza box outer carton served as protection for the truck during shipment as well as an opportunity for enhanced storytelling. ON the side of the stack of pizza boxes, you get a taste of some toping options that are out of this world!
